In my hamsters cage, there is a golden stubstance that is hard and it is not sticky, what is it exactly,?

it has been drinking this kind of vitamiens to get used to its new house.. the stubscence is not sticky. It is at the corner at his cage and last night it really wanted to go out of his cage ( at 2 am in the morning). What exactly is it? Please help we got it yesterday!What is it?

Well it might be its pee. Some times if the hamster starts drinking or eating something out of the ordanary its pee can change. Or it might be some dried vitimans. If your feeding vitimans out of the water try just putting 1 drop the first day 2 drops the second day 3....... And on for about a month. I hope that the golden stuff does not dampen your spirts about getting a hamster. Hope this answer helps! :) :)

This substance is probably urine. After a week or so clean your cage and if there is more....It is definitely urine!
