Question:

In my house( which was vaccant for 15-16 months) hot water coming yellow. Any checking point?

Before I call any plumber I would like to try my self any checking point. Please advise what to do?

  1. your pipes might have rusted over time. due to it sitting for so long. This happened to me when l was taking a shower. But it doesn't make your water unsanatary. i'm sure its fine.


  2. The water is yellow because it has sat in the tank for so long.Shut the power off to the heater and the cold water inlet valve.Drain down the tank and then refill with good water.That should help..
