In my library, every time I take out a book I get an itching sensation on my hand. Why?

taking in consideration that books are constantly being checked out by various people who are clean and not so clean.  You could have easily picked up dust, allergins that others have from their bodies, their homes, their environment.  Wipe the books as safe as possible and your hands before and after handling those items.

You may have allergy for dust. Try to touch new looking books and see if you still face the same issue.
