My answer: I would have to definately say a) gulab jamun (esp when it is warm..sooo good!). I would've picked g) shankarpali ( if the question said "my mom's shankarpali" b/c she makes darn good shakarpali lol) But (a) is my answer.

I love any indian mithai, after living in the west for so long I just crave any indian mithai, especially bengali like malai sandwich, rasgulla, and gulab jamun. My freezer is filled with cake and ice cream, but I crave indian mithais.

You know, my fav is"Fruit Indrani". It is prepared in small earthenware called "kulhad". Thick sweet milk (It is called "Doodh ko autana") is mixed  with baby rasgulla, dry fruits like kaju, badam and pista and addition of cut fruits like Anardana, pineapple etc. Yes, there are Kesar and ilaychi too with this. I generally take this for my brother for "Rakshabandhan".

I like Puranpoli which is a typical Maharashtrian sweet dish made on most of the festivals like Holi, Dasara.

May I suggest you one thing: If you like Gulabjam so much then you try it with ghee. Just add a teaspoonful of pure ghee on the top of a gulabjam and you will love it.

mmmm....u made me hungry i love indian sweets but u have to have an appetite for them cuz i knoe its hard to get accustomed to if your not with it...but i love sweets all the time.....A is def my fav i think imma go make some right now..i love gulab jamuns warm....mmmm...

i love all those though except im picky bout who make the kheer..with gulab jamun anytime all the time...but with some sweets i like to limit myself! (hehe_)

all of these sweets make my mouthwater...

i think gulab jaman coz everything is balanced..

its sweet from utside and not as sweet inside...

(p.s Pakistan has all these sweets as well...)...
