In need of a new tennis racket, but have no idea which to get...?

I am in need of a new racket. I have had mine all throughout highschool and now I'm playing at my college. I have been playing for 11 years, so Im not a beginner and consider myself to be pretty good

What rackets do you suggest? I am looking for something that can give me the best of both worlds-power and accuracy. I am also used to playing with a bigger racket head, and that is a bit longer in length

I can get a discount through my coach, so price isn't all that important, but preferrably something under 200

  1. You should narrow your list 4 racquets, then demo them for $21 from tennis-warehouse.com.  I would try the Prince O3 Speedport Black Long Body, Prince O3 Speedport Pro White, the Babolat Pure Drive Plus Cortex, and the Wilson K Factor KBlade 98.  Don't take one person's word for it.  Try them before you commit to them.  And you should get 2 of the same racquet, so you have a backup.  Good luck!

  2. It depends. Do u need power or control, or both? Wilson offers control, but not as much power. My personal raquet is Babolat (the one Rafa has) it offers me a lot of power and control. I believe head is good as well. I would go w/ Babolat. Try first, and see which one fits u the best.

  3. you could go for something like the babolat pure drive which i have, it is about 200 - 240 dollars and if you want a bigger head size you can go for the babolat pure drive + which is slightly more expensive. It has a good balence of power and accuracy.

  4. i am into the prince O3's they are probably have smaller head then your use to but the new technology i think is awesome. i know a lot of tennis pros that use them and love them. although babolot is good also but i prefer the prince O3's good luck with ur season. you might want to go to a tennis pro shop near you (not like sports authority or a store like that) and test out some rackets before you buy it through ur coach so ur not disappointed when you get the racket. again good luck
