  1. Actually, the correct translation of Beautiful Harbor is "Bel Porto" (in Italian, in this case, the adjective would be placed before the noun). Acqua bella in this case would be correct (adjective following the noun). However, here are some other suggestions you might like:

    Il Porto = The Harbor

Il Porticciolo = The Little Harbor

    Acqua Chiara = Clear Water

    Acque Calme = Calm Waters

Vista dal Porto = A View from the Harbor

These all sound better for the name of a painting.

  2. Best translator I've found on the web is google translate

    Beautiful water is: acqua bella

    Beautiful harbour is: porto bello

I don't know what your painting is but water fantasy translates nicely to:

    fantasia dell'acqua

  3. If is for a panting sound better ...un bellissimo acquarello di un porto.. translate a beautiful water painting of a harbor

  4. Beautiful harbor would be "Porto Bello"

Beautiful water would be "Acqua Bella"

I think Acqua Bella sounds better, especially since porto bello is a type of mushroom.

  5. "Meravigliosa Acqua", and "Porto Bello".  What does the painting depict? Maybe something else would come to mind if I knew more about it.

  6. This is roughly translated by dictionary.com

Beautiful Water in Italian is Acqua Bella

Beautiful Harbor in Italian is Porto Bello

Personally, I think Acqua Bella sounds nicer.

  7. A painting is an work of art and it deserves a nicer title.

Disregard the answers given by people using translator.

I'm Italian native and I find correct just the previous answer given by Shamrock.

    Beautiful Water is Acqua bella

and Beautiful Porto is Bel Porto but both sounds not that nice.

They are however correct if you want use but,and this also depending on the subject of the painting, I would suggest :

Sabbie d'oro (golden sands) if there is a sand beach

Rocce selvagge (Wild rocks) if there are rocks to the sea.

Marina piccola if it's a small painting

or Marina grande if it's a large painting (Marina is coast, seashore - piccola is small - grande is large)

Il Porticciolo (small harbour) if it's not too big

    otherwise Il Porto (harbour)

Navi a riposo (resting boats) if there are moored boats

Pescatori al rientro (fishermen back to land) if there are showed

    a few fishing boats
