In need of a story title; help?

So I'm considering writing a L*****n love story about an artist who creates a sculpture of the girl of her dreams, only to have the sculpture come to life.

I'm looking for a title that includes one or more of the words: sculpture, unreal, fake, etc. I'm looking for something creative, yet simple.

Think you can help a girl out? :)

  1. The fraudulent dream

    The imposture of love

    fabricated affair

  2. the best way to get a title is to include an exclamation by the sculptor when her sculpture turns alive.. it can be 'no way!' or 'stella??' which may be the name of the girl...

so u can keep it as the story's title .....i.e. 'no way' ---or--- 'stella??'

if u dont like dis idea then what about titles like -

    a dream come true....

  3. Sculpturing Love

  4. The Fake Unreal Sculpture, just kidding. How about, Unreal Love.

  5. Unreal Sculpture: A Fake Dream?

  6. ummm

    lets see

    Unreal reality.

    Artistic dreams.

    Sculpting reality.

Hope you find what your looking for.

    Enjoy writing the story.

    It sounds good.

    :)

  7. Unrealistic Pleasure

  8. It doesn't have those words, but how about something like...

    Putty in her hands

  9. sculpture dreams: a unreal love story

  10. Femalion - rhymes with Pygmalion

  11. 1. Goddess of Passion

    2. Unreal Voluptuary

  12. Your story is like Pygmalion & Galatea

    anyways I suggest:

    Cold Skin

  13. Unreal Love Sculpture

  14. I agree with Angelchild - you're much better off writing the story first and could probably come up with something much more meaningful and unique when you've done all the description-writing, character-building and theme-exploring that writing a story involves.

If it were me I'd go for something about form (as in female form but also forming the sculpture) or figure.  Or maybe something about a 'Sculptor's Hands' or a 'Sculptor's Touch'?  It kind of depends what aspects of the story you're focussing on, whose point of view you tell it from, and the mood of the story.

Or how about 'Inventing Eve'? (Eve because she's created from clay, like in the Bible).  Or 'Eve and I'?  'Unreal Eve' gets in one of your words, but it wouldn't be my personal choice.

Hope you find something just right.

  15. Marble Madeleine

    Statue Stacy

    Alabaster Angel

    Replicant

  16. why are all these men being men? *tuts*

Anyway! Interesting plot, good luck with it.

I usually find it easier to give a book a title after I've written it as things can develop that would make an excellent title.

Catchphrases can become perfect ideas and twists in the plot could give the title a mysterious air, one of my friends reads the Darren Shan series and it's called 'The son's of destiny' it turns out (not wanting to ruin the plot for anyone!) the two main characters are sons of Des(mond) Tiny!! ooh! Spooky eh?!?

Ahem, anyway, you could use something reflecting the passion of the story...erm....

    "Just one more day"

    "Porcelain Touch"

    "Creation of Love"

    Good luck with it!

  17. sculptured bliss

  18. Chiselling a Romance

  19. How about "Skin Deep"?
