According to their website http://www.mymms.com you get 8 characters per line and two lines per candy.  You get two choices of sayings per package.  I would use things like!

You have to keep it small...one word per M&M.

I would have a mix of different words , the couples names, last name, date they got married, love, anniversary, forever, just a few examples.
