  1. lol I'm a chick on a friends so don't think bad like i'm sum dude tryin 2 tlk 2 u bout this but....I use conditioner it makes them rly smooth...and under ur arms well...I do the same maybe that will help the burn or red bumps....

  2. It is best to use shaving cream, this will help to reduce those red bumps you may get.

As for your bikini area, if you are wanting to shave that, be ready to be very itchy, at least until you do it several times, even then it get itchy.  For the bikini area, I find it best to first shave with the hair not against it.  The hair is to hard and thick to shave against it, making it easier to get more cuts or razor bumps.  I shave with the hair until it is quite short all over.  Then I still do not shave directly against the hair, I shave it crosswise.

Don't know if any of this will help you, but good luck!

And here is a website that will answer all of your questions correctly:

Make sure to take a look at this site, it will tell you step by step instructions:

  3. soap can sometimes irritate the skin, you may want to use a shaving cream or hair conditioner or several brands even make shave 'n shower shower gel designed to reduce irritation when you shave. i wouldnt suggest shaving your arms unless your hair is back, even then, nair might be a better option. you should defiantly shave your underarm carefully, that skin is really sensitive. the hair in you bikini area is thicker and the skin is more sensitive, tricky combination. i suggest leaving conditioner on there for three or four minutes in the shower then shaving at a 90 degree angle. if the skin still gets irritated then you should try a cream like bikini zone to apply after wards

  4. Shave in the direction opposite from hair growth. Yes, you can use soap, but its probably better if you use shaving cream. I'm not sure if your talking about arm or armpits. If your talking about arms I would get them waxed.  If you get red bumps that means your skin is irritated. I wouldn't shave so often especially if it's down south, you have to give some time for your hair to grow out a little before you shave again (that way you don't get red bumps)  Hopefully I've helped you out.

  5. You should use a really good shaving cream instead of soap because soap isn't moisturizing or protective. To shave your arms you need to go opposite of the hair growth, so generally at an angle going up from the outside of your body towards the inside. To prevent red bumps, use a good shaving cream and there are creams available at the drug store that are supposed to prevent them, I know there is one called bikini zone. Also don't shave too too close or you'll get more ingrown hairs (bumps). When you first start shaving an area it will be itchy for a while until you get used to the stubble growing back. Again the bikini zone will alleviate that feeling. Otherwise use lots of moisturizer. When shaving the bikini area the best thing is to use a sharp blade. I know this isn't always possible because you aren't going to only shave when you have a new razor, but it's just recommended for the best shave. Be gentle, if you have a lot of irritation try only shaving that area in the direction of the hair growth instead of opposite of it. That should alleviate a lot of the discomfort even though the shave isn't as close.

  6. First, not everyone uses the same things to shave. Someone up there said they use shaving cream. I never do - I hate it. I use Dove soap. And Musicman is wrong - you shave from your ankle towards your knee in the OPPOSITE direction of hair growth.

Second, I don't know if you meant shaving your arms or your arm pits, but I would recommend against shaving your arms. The hair will come back prickly like your leg hair does. Not worth it. However, if you meant shaving your armpits, you can use the same product you use to shave your legs.. Like I said, I use Dove. The red bumps are because the razor is irritating your skin. Don't press so hard.

Third, when you shave your bikini line, there are products you can buy to apply to the area that reduce the red bumps (Bikini Zone is one).

    Hope that all helps.

  7. You want to use SHAVING CREAM (especially if you have sensitive skin). Shave from your ankles up (the direction the hair grows). Red bumps are just irritation. I suggest you don't shave your arms because the hair grows back thicker and darker. If you shave them once, you'll have to keep shaving them, so I suggest you get your arms waxed.

Your swimsuit area does itch a little after you shave there, but I don't know why.

    Good Luck!

  8. Right way to shave = towards you, making sure you don't press too hard or too soft [that is, up the legs not down]

Wrong way = away from you. Firstly this limits coordination and how much you press down [If you press too hard you make nasty red marks and "red bumps"] and secondly this just pushes down hair. It doesn't shave it off.

Soap is alright but, *I find shaving cream works better* As long as you can get the smell away afterwards ;)

Again, towards you, making sure you don't press down too hard or too softly.

Yup, that's normal, its the hairs =[[[

Uhh, not really, but to be honest you kinda have to experiment to find which way works best for you.

I hope I answered your questions, you can emailz me at Atrataitoshi@rocketmail.com

  9. Soap is alright to use...but i use shaving cream. Its called Skintimate and it really smoothes my skin.

  10. Check out this website, http://beauty.about.com/od/hairremoval/a...

At the bottom of the article there is also a couple more links you might find helpful.

That should answer the basics of all your questions. The main thing is to make sure that your skin is exfoliated so use warm/hot water and shaving cream and legs always shave upward. Underarms you should do all angles pretty much. For the bikini area make sure you shave with the direction of hair growth and then after that you can shave across or against direction of hair growth. Also make sure any hairs are trimmed before you shave.

Make sure you change you razor blades often.

Also everything depends on how sensitive you skin is. I personally don't even waste money on shaving cream i just use water.

The article also mentions TENDSKIN. It's not expensive and you can get it at pretty much any drugstore and it works GREAT for ingrown hairs or red bumps, irritation. If you have any more questions you can totally email me at hrnyplygrl@yahoo.com

    Good luck! Hopefully this helped!
