looking for more creative type games other then polls. something that keeps members involved.

Why not either quizzes or polls?  Create a quiz question or a poll question related to the subject of your Group.  Post a message to the Group with the question and an e-mail address to reply to.  After a few days, post the results if it was a poll, or post the correct answer and say who answered it correctly if it was a quiz.  You might even want to set up some sort of reward for answering quiz questions correctly.
