In new Orleans During Hurricane Katrina did that white lady really kidnapped that black lady kids?

iIwanna know what going on and why did she waited this long to get her kids back not being annoying im just saying.

Probably because no one else was taking care of them. Shocker. The parents were probably busy looting. Heres a question for you. Why did all those black people just sit on their butts and not get out of New Orleans and wait for the govt. to take them by the hand and do every little thing to save them when they clearly had ample warning of the impending disaster. Then start screaming, of course, racism when FEMA and Bush werent right there johnny on the spot before the wind died down to spoon feed them and wipe their butts. Why was most of the $2000 debit card funds issued by Bush to thousands of victims spent on drugs, alcohol, plasma tv's and such. Guess that was Bush's and FEMA'S fault too.

The most recent news on this is that the white lady was caring for the children while the mother was rebuilding their life in New Orleans. She would call and write her children as well as send the woman money to help. She told the woman she was coming to get her kids back because everything was ready. The woman takes off with the kids before the mother gets back. Now they are investigating the mom b/c the crazy kidnapping woman said they were abused at home.

I am white yes, but I am deeply saddened and ashamed that this woman would do this. If you really think kids are being abused you don't run off with them!

After Hurricane Katrina, a lot of New Orleans families evacuated to Texas, particularly Houston, where local families opened their homes and in many cases their hearts to these people.  Most of the evacuees were good guests, and managed to get back on their own feet in time. However, there were some who took advantage of their hosts. This mother pretty much left her children to the care of this "white lady" who came to love the kids. Then 3 years later Mom wants them back.  Well, now she has them. Wonder what the kids think?
