  1. You will need to improve your written English before you can even consider being a lawyer.  This means working hard in school, getting into a good college, and picking a major that interests you.  You must have a four-year college degree to go to law school, but aside from getting good grades no specific major is required.

After college you will need to take the LSAT and then apply to law school.  If you want to do the kind of work you mention that probably means working with your local District Attorney's office - this means you must do fairly well in law school and take classes on dealing with traumatized victims and criminal law.

  2. You will need a college degree, plus a degree in Law, which takes three years.

I'd suggest you get familiar with subjects medical, including chemistry, anatomy, and basics of biology, along with some psychology.

In college, consider a program in Criminal Justice, as some Law Schools allow the first year of law to count for the last year of that degree.

Along the way, study Logic, Speech and Debate, and always favor courses requiring a lot of writing.

I wish you well in your pursuit, but will caution you of one thing.  If you want to help rape victims, I'm thinking you plan to get a bit more emotionally involved than is healthy for a lawyer.  Lawyers need to be cold and logical, even when putting on a performance for a jury.  You might want to consider investigation or counseling as careers, if you can't turn this desire into a "cold passion".
