  1. You collect the money when you deliver the products to your customers.  Deposit the money in your bank account then pay avon out of that.  What's left over from the total you owe avon is your profit to keep.   The person you signed up under should be able to help you with any problems you come across also.  Don't be afraid to contact them for help.

Good Luck with your new business : )

  2. When you sell a product, Avon bills you for X percent, depending on how much you sold during that campaign. The customer pays the catalog price, you pay Avon the percent, and you keep the rest.

Say your sales for that campaign are $400. That puts you in the 35% bracket. If all your products are "full earnings" like perfume, make up(usually anything that isn't jewelry, clothes, kids stuff, etc.) then you will pocket $140. If payments are made by credit card or on line, the percentage of those sales is credited to your account.

Really, the only time it seems like a scheme is when you get involved in leadership, where you recruit others to sell Avon, and you earn a percentage of their sales. Of course, that's true of any similar marketing group, Mary Kay, Amway, Pampered Chef, the list is long!

But if you just want a little pocket money, or even just a discount for your own purchases, Avon is really a great way to go.

  3. If people pay with cash or check, you get paid directly, and pay Avon their percentage out of that.  If they pay with a credit card or choose Direct Delivery online, Avon is paid directly, and you receive a credit for your percentage.  If the amount exceeds ten dollars, Avon sends you a check.  Good luck with your business!

They encourage you to recruit, but it isn't required to have someone under you to make money.  I and other friends of mine do well on our own.  The biggest problems you'll have are resisting the temptation to buy more than you sell, and the fact that there will likely be a lot of other reps in your area.

  4. Well what happens is that you would collect all the money from your orders you would pay Avon their portion and you keep the difference.  You get an invoice with each order so you will know exactly what you make every order.

Not sure if you are aware but now you can sign up to become a representative online plus it is only $10 to get started and with all the support that is available out there you should be able to make a great income.

If you do happen to be interested and are ready to get started just go to my website and hit the Become a Representative link so that I could email you online application website.

Hope that helped answer your question!

  5. You will charge the customers the Avon catalog price for the goods they are buying, but Avon sends the items to you at a discounted price. You will recieve an invoice from Avon with what you have to pay. When you collect the money from the customers, you pay the invoice and then what is left is your profit.

Where you can get into trouble is if you order things for yourself... it could end up where you owe more on the invoice than you collected from customers. Other than that, it's a perfectly good business and way to make money.
