  1. Go for a bone color.  Its just off white and is usually what realtors want to see.


  2. play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

    I think "medici ivory" (# 7558) would look fantastic.

    You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.

  3. beige is about the most neutral  color you can paint

  4. Go for cream/ very light yellow colours. You don't need to completely neutralise all of your house, just tone down any really "Individual" rooms, and make sure your house is clean and tidy, and looks like somewhere people would find attractive. Try and make your house look like a show house, and people will want to buy it more than if you have say black walls and a room full of clutter. Good luck!
