In ottawa...?

Question

there is a town in the ottawa area called Kanata.There was an NHL hockey player from there.

Anyone know his name?

Todd White.  I think he is with Minnesota this season.

Todd White is correct, and is a member of the Wild.  White actually started with the SENS. (Where the Sens home ice is actually!) He played in 61 games and had 40 pts last year (07/08).
