So yesterday I surfed for quite some time, and today when I woke up I was in some pain, espiceally my knees which are totally scuffed up from a wax rash. Are there any super experienced surfers out there that can help me out with this predicament? It is really painful.

  1. If your pain is only on your knees due to wax rash, try using a traction pad. The traction pad is a little softer, and won't rough up your knees as much as wax. Just be lucky your a girl and wear a top. I often get wax rash on my nipples due to the wax when I surf for an especially long time. I live in Hawaii so it is more comfortable to surf without a rash guard, but sometimes getting scabs on the nipples....OUCH.

  2. for today...tylenol

for next time you surf...practice on the beach...w/o a board...going from laying down (paddling position) to straight to your feet, w/o going to your knees first

    good luck
