  1. It has always been during the week.  It runs down Woodard and ends at Hart Plaza.  I've called in sick for the last two Cup parades (1998 and 2002).

I have always gone to Hart Plaza to listen to the players talk.  The first year I got there at 8am and there were already alot people there.  The next year I got there at 5am and was able to get a decent spot.  If they have one this year(game 5 is tonight) I will be there around 4am.  I want to up front and center.

Just a heads up if you go to Hart Plaza - it gets very crowded, very quickly.  Eventually it is just a mass of people and very, very little room to move.  But it is a ton of fun to be with a bunch of Red Wings fans.

  2. During the week and I've been to one. Get to Woodward early to get a good spot. You'll love it! They usually end up at Hart Plaza and give speeches. How long it lasts is really up to you. We watched them go buy down Woodward but couldn't get to Hart Plaza (crowded)

  3. It's usually during the week, on Woodward Avenue, of course!

Thanks for typing "if". I'm a huge Wings fan but very superstitious.

They still have to play tomorrow and win. No guarantees - what if Malkin suddenly finds his game? The Wings aren't playing the lucky 2002 Carolina Hurricanes, but the best team in the East.
