In pirates of the caribbean 3 why cant elizabeth go on the ship with will turner in the end?

Because Will doesn't have a heart and so he is the captain of the Flying Deutchmun and can only go on land once every 10 years or something

because she was alive.  the ship was a punishment for the dead

because will was captain of the flying dutchman, where they have to transport dead souls to Davy's Jones locker. Since Elizabeth is alive, she cannot go where the ship must travel.  But I'm guessing when she dies she could reunite with him
