In pokemon, when you kill a benched pokemon do you get a prize?

Some of my electric pokemon have the ability to do damage to benched pokemon. If i manage to kill a benched pokemon with one of these attacks, do I receive a prize?

yes.  there is no difference between a benched and active except the benched pokemon can't attack
