In pokemon diamond,what is the scatering ability?

Question

does a pokemon have that anility or not? if yes what pokemon have the scatering ablility?if a pokemo has it do u scater at the ground by wwalking or does it steal an item from the foes pokemon? please help!

There isn't an ability called Scattering, but there is an ability called Pick Up where the Pokemon picks up items on the ground sometimes (you can't pick up the item and they don't show up so only your Pokemon with Pick Up can pick it up). I don't know if that's what you mean or Scattering like running.  There is also an ability called Run Away where that Pokemon can run from a wild pokemon battle without fail.  And there are attacks that steels an item from the foe (only wild ones though, trainer battle items you don't keep) called Theif and Covet, but that's not an ability.
