In pokemon emerald i need help?

ok i have an item finder and it beeps and says there is something buried here how do i dig it up when i press a nothing happens and i move around and it keeps beeping but i cant dig anything

u just need to keep looking around the area that it beeps press "a" every time u step and that should work

If your Item Finder beeps, that means there is an item hidden somewhere on your screen, so remember which squares were showing when you used it. Press A to check for an item. It might not be directly in front of you, so try every one of the empty squares. Good luck!
