  1. For a complete list of poker terms checkout http://www.fullofpoker.com/Poker-Terms.h...

  2. call is when somebody bets and you see his bet

a bet is when you raise a check

a check is when you already have money out on the field and don't decide to raise any more

  3. When playing poker, the bet is how much money or chips you put into the center, called the ante. If you check you want to pass and not bet anything at all, but if the person after you bets you to need to bet, and call means that if someone bets 2 dollars you will also bet 2 dollars. There are many rules though, you can't just go off of 3 vocabs!!

  4. everyone already said what it is. however we forgot the most interesting and fun part of the game... ALL IN!!!!

  5. call;  THROW IN WHATEVER THE CALL IS NO MONEY UNLESS SOMEONE RAISES

BET:  WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BET THEN IT GOES BACK TO THE PERSON WHO CALLED

CHECK IS LIKE A CALL, BUT THE CALL IS THE LAST HAND AND THE CHECK KEEPS YOU IN, LIKE IF SOMEONE CHECKS AND SOMEONE RAISES YOU HAVE TO RAISE AND THATS AN I'LL SEE THAT

  6. call- you are going to call the person's bet. you match their bet.

    bet- you raise

check- you want to continue but do not want to bet

  7. Call is to answer somebody's bet, bet is to put in chips for how good you think your hand is, and to check is to waive the right to initiate the betting in a round, but to retain the right to act if another player initiates the betting.

  8. When it is your turn to act and you do not want to bet, and no one before you has bet, you may CHECK.  If someone after you bets, when it comes back around to you again, you will have the option to CALL, which means matching the bet made by someone before you, or you can FOLD or RAISE.

BET is when it is your turn to act, and no one before you has acted, you may BET (make a wager of chips) or CHECK.

  9. In poker there are different rounds of betting.  If you are the first one to put money into the pot during that round that is a bet.  If the other players want to stay in the hand they can match your bet...this is a call.  You can up the amount of the previous bet...this is a raise.  The players following you will need to match both bets.  A check is like a pass for the betting round, you can only check if noone in front of you has bet.

  10. calll- To match, rather than raise, the previous bet.

bet-To voluntarily put money or chips into the pot.

check-To abstain from betting, reserving the right to call or raise if another player bets. Also another name for a chip.

    :)

  11. Simplest terms...

Call - You agree to pay out the bet someone else made.

Bet - how much money you want to put on the line

Check - is basically like "pass" but you can't do it if someone before you bet.

  12. call is matching the latest, most largest bet made into the pot....bet is simply putting in whatever amount of chips from minimum to "all in" before anyone else bets...checking is when no one has bet before you and you can then get a "free" look at the next card...otherwise you have to "call"

  13. call is when some1 else bets and you still want to stay in so u give the same amount of money a bet is betting more money also called a raise and a check is where u just want to see the next card(s) without betting money but if some1 already betted then u cant check you can only call, fold, or bet even more.
