  1. You lose the game.

  2. you would lose because u cannot pot the 8 ball on a foul shot or u will lose. (potting the cue ball is a foul shot)

  3. LOSS OF GAME

Fouls when pocketing the 8-ball (exception: see 8-Ball Pocketed On The

If the 8-ball is pocketed on the break, breaker may ask for a re-rack or have the 8-ball spotted and continue shooting. If the breaker scratches while pocketing the 8-ball on the break, the incoming player has the option of a re-rack or having the 8-ball spotted and begin shooting with ball in hand behind the head string.

  4. if you get the white in then it's a normal foul, if you get the 8 ball and othere ball of your challenger you lost, also if you get the 8 ball and you white then you have just lost the match.

  5. YOU LOSE ///

  6. As long are you are playing ball in hand or world standardized rules you do not lose unless you make the 8 ball and then scratch.  Other wise just scratching is a foul and your opponent gets ball in hand.  Good luck, and keep racken em up.

  7. then it doesnt count and you have to take the eight ball out

  8. you loose...

try hitting it at an angle and not to hard

  9. Yep, you lose, like most of the other people have said:

    3.8 Losing the Rack

    The shooter loses if he

    (a) fouls when pocketing the eight ball;

Pocketing the white ball is called a scratch, which is a foul, so you would lose.

  10. Scratch on the 8 ball and you lose, I stink at pool and that is how I win (when I do win).

  11. you lose

  12. Depends on the local rules of the game and the game you are playing.  If you are playing 8-Ball you may or may not lose.  Most times you loose.  But there may be some houses where that is only a scratch.

In most all other games if your que ball goes in a pocket or off the table it is a scratch and you loose your turn and there may be some other penalties, like balls returned to the table or an apponent getting ball in hand.  Regardless, it is bad if you scratch.

  13. Oh my poor Jo, you will lose sweetheart.  So try not to make it happen, ok?

  14. Scratch on the 8 is a loss.

  15. You lose the game; it's a default rule.

  16. If you scratch on the 8-ball you lose the game. Your opponent doesn't even have to make a shot, it's over. pretty g*y, huh?

  17. You lose.
