When people post a picture in the message it always says "[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]". I can't seem to find settings to fix this. Ideas?

  1. if you are the owner

management- under group settings click messages- posts and archives (edit) click the edit- in the column of attachments be sure distribute is selected- click save changes

other than that, one needs to be on individual mail settings- the archives will not store most photo's. they'll be a great big blank space where the photo is while reading off the group site

  2. Attachments including photos are automatically stripped by the Yahoo email servers when messages are posted to groups.  This helps prevent viruses/malware from being transmitted to members' computers (and Yahoo servers).  You can view the photos via email by changing your email delivery to Individual Emails.

    Sign in to the group.

Click "Edit Membership" near top of page.

Scroll down to Step 2. Message Delivery.

    Select "Individual Emails".

Scroll down to bottom of page and click "Save Changes".

It might take a day or so for this change to take effect depending on the Yahoo email servers demands.
