In prison terminology, what does 'behind the door' mean?

Does anyone know what 'behind the door' means. I have a feeling it means serving your sentance without having visitors, through your own choice. Does anyone know if that is correct or am I wrong and there is another meaning?

  1. it just means whenever you can you slam your sell door shut and shut everyone and everything out,ive always done that because everything in prison gets you down despite what the brainwashed people say about prison being easy,it really isnt


  2. inside the cell,or in other words without association and privileges like TV or gym etc
