  1. Weakest other than pitchers are usually catchers.  Then second baseman and shortstops, but many of them have better speed or are excellant fielders.

  2. Weakest do you mean by power or just hitting in general?

Second basemen are usually pretty weak in power but good in speed or contact.

Well of course pitchers are gonna be weak in hitting becuase they dont practice they're hitting.

  3. weakest hitters are usually catchers

    strongest: outfield and first base

  4. Pitchers are generally the worst and weakest hitters.

  5. okay. the position that you play doesnt determine how great of a batter you are so...it just depends.

and usually the pitcher doesnt hit.

they have a dh(designated hitter) for that.

  6. pitchers fer sure.  =D

  7. There are always exceptions at every position but generally pitchers are very poor hitters. As for position players catchers historically have not been the best hitters. This is largely because defense and game calling are almost more important for a catcher than being able to hit.

  8. Almost always, pitchers.

Pitchers are picked up for their ability to pitch, not their hitting.

Especially in the American League, because pitchers don't have to bat.

However, in the National League, pitchers do have to hit..but, they don't show up in the line-up as often.

Catchers are usually the second-weakest hitters, but it really depends on the player.

  9. catchers in fantasy baseball.  pitchers in a real game.
