  1. Yes. The townpeople misjudged him; they think he's a good for nothing alcoholic, even though he's not. They think he's "weird" because he prefers hanging out with black people, when they themselves are the ones with problems (prejudice). In all reality, Dolphus is the bigger person. He's a better human being than they are. But because of their prejudice, they can't, and don't, understand him.


  2. Yes could could class Dolphus as one of the Mockingbird's, it's an interesting angle to write your essay from.  I hope you do well.
