In regard to sending an email to a person who clicked on "Join This Group"

I am the owner/moderator of the CVJS Group. I uploaded a document to the "Files" section and marked it to be sent to people when they click on "Join This Group" and I reject them. I tested it out with a second Yahoo account that I have. The rejection process sent 2 copies of the rejection document to the other account. How can I prevent 2 copies from being sent?

Yahoo automatically sends a notice to the pending member when the owner/moderator rejects the membership.  That probably accounts for the second rejection document you speak of.  Try this:  Edit the new rejection file and remove any checkmarks for sending the file.  Then using your second Yahoo account, go through the "Join This Group" routine and see if you still receive the Yahoo automated rejection notice.  Then you will see what I'm talking about.
