In regards to Application process to University

Ok so Im not exactly sure how this works but right now I'm being told to apply in september to the universities of my liking for Fall 2009. I understand this but what if my GPA is not at its full potential when I first send the application? Example: I send in my application with my current GPA of 2.97, will they look at it and throw it away immediately or will they hold that untill I recieve my AA from my junior college and the end GPA I recieve in Spring 2009? Reason I'm very curious is because if I send in early but with a lower GPA I fear of getting rejected when I can send in later with a GPA of potentially 3.4 or 3.6. Can anyone explain to me how they evaluate my admission?

  1. They're not going to only look at your GPA. They will look at your extracurricular activities, community service, class load, ect.
