  1. a full size bed is 52inches wide and a queen is 60inches wide. a full comforter will not look good on a queen bed. Although some companies do make a full queen comforter. It is kind of small and I would rather go with a larger size.

  2. A queen sized mattress is only 4 inches wider than a full. A lot of beds made today are adjustable between full/queen by utilizing a double bracket for expansion of the side rails. A full can be used on a queen, but a queen can`t be used on full if it isn`t expandable. Because of the very slight difference, most comforters are made to accommodate a queen, so definitely will fit a full.

  3. Sometimes a comforter or blanket will be full/queen. It will just fall farther down the sides of the bed on a full mattress set than on a queen set. The bed-skirt and sheets will not fit a queen size bed if they are full. They will be too small.

    If you have a pillow top or deep mattress set even the comforter may end up on the small side on a queen and look more like a coverlet.

  4. umm, queen is bigger than full it goes from smallest to largest {Twin, Full, Queen, King}

  5. A queen is larger than a full.  A full comforter will not properly fit a queen size bed particularly if you have the deeper newer mattresses.  Always go with the larger size comforter.
