In regards to my last question, why are there more chinese snooker players getting into major snooker tourname

Well, China is a very large country. Snooker is becoming popular in China. The sheer numbers of people playing will mean that more Chinese players will arrive on the tournament scene.

Also Chinese companies are sponsoring tournaments in China.

If football became popular in China, the same thing would happen. The sheer numbers involved would mean more Chinese players would become soccer stars.

More players in china now and are improving enough to qualify for the latter stages of events. Australia has Neil Robertson but U.S.A hasn't any players on the circuit and Canada hasn't had any top players since the days of Thorburn, Stevens and Werbeniuk, there is a little growth in Germany, Belgium etc but no top flight players as yet.

I think its just because more and more people are getting into it over there. With a population like that then theres bound to be some good players coming through

Being a big country,with an immense population,there are a lot of people playing.The more people play a sport,the more good players are likely to be found.

With the number of players in China,you are bound to find some very good players.

Try looking at it this way: If there are twenty thousand players in Britain and 1% are good enough to turn pro,that would be about 200 pro players.

In a country the size of China there could be 2,000,000 players.If 1% of them are good enough to turn pro,they would have 2000 pro players.

The law of averages says they are bound to have a fair few.
