i dont agree on that one, you feel sad when he is sad, you are also in pain if he is in pain, you want to be on his shoes (and pants jk) and see yourself in him. it is a part of the great love.

I don't see it as empathy but sympathy, a harmonics between individuals, where you feel for one another, but not because of one another, instead in tune with one another. If he hurts she hurts and if she is happy so is he. They vibrate their love for one another.

Empathy is always involved when it comes to my response.... to anyone ..... when it comes to my soulmates response he doesn't have a natural instinct to feel empathy ... at all .... his idea of empathy is to give you a pat on the back and say something like "Oh, that's no good mate, you'll be right".... i think it's because he finds it difficult to express it .......  he does the best with what he's got......;0)
