and is it just the kicker who takes them or do a selection of players have to take the kicks like in football? and finally how do you win this.

  1. In a tournament game like the world cup (outside of tournaments draws are just accepted at the end of normal time) if the game goes to drop kicks they are taken from the 22. Five players are involved from each side, and they must have been on the field when the extra time finished. One kick is taken from straight in front of the posts, one each from 15 metres each side of straight on, and one each from each sideline. Best of 5 wins. After that if there is still a draw they toss a coin

  2. If there is a tie it's allowed to stand in League Games (like the Premiership) But I think you're asking about the World Cup when the extra time has been played in matches, 5 players from each team will take drop kicks from different areas on the 22 line, but as far as I know its never happened before.

To win it works the same as it does for football, the team who gets the best out of 5 wins or it goes into sudden death.

  3. I think , not sure though, that it goes to try counts first and if both teams have the same try tally then they do the dropies from different areas with in the 22 yards line.

    kia kaha

  4. I think it goes to try count before it goes to a kick off.
