In simple terms how do i invest in stocks?

I don't need an explanation on how it stocks work or anything like that I'm aware of that, i just want to know to know how do i go and give my money to the company.

Use scottrade, they are easy and cheap.  I love it.  Have fun buying!  Might check out Micron.  MU they are in my city and I think will go up.
