In skins game how do you equate when women vs men play? Shouldn't they get some extra strokes?

The game I play in has 4 gals playing skins with 20 guys. We play get your strokes where they lie for full handicap, guys and gals. And gals play from forward tees. But someone once said that there should be an adjustment since we are playing the guys.

  1. No, you're playing from the women's tees.  That makes it fair enough.  At my home course most of the women's tees are halfway to the green from the men's tees.

  2. At the "pro" level, they adjust all holes so the men and women were hitting roughly the same club on approach. This always seemed fair to me. I believe the womens tee's are too long, on average, for public play. Just watch the average woman try to play these holes. It can't be fun.

  3. If you are already playing full handicaps and allowing forward tees for the women, you shouldn't change anything in your approach to the game.  These two conditions already level the playing field for both strength and skill.

  4. If you're playing from different tees you already have an advantage.  If anything, the guys should get a shot or two, depending on how much closer the women are.

  5. Nope...The forward tees are what you get. That should be advantage enough.

  6. The forward tees and playing using your handicaps should be enough to balance the differences between people.

  7. nope, thats fair if your playing from the forward tees, but thats a little unfair to the guys, theres no reason why a girl cant play as good as a guy
