  1. It comes from billiards.

In that game, you have a white ball, a white ball with a spot and a red ball.

When the conversion to snooker came, six extra balls were added, with different roles - these were the "colours" (Yellow, Green, Brown, Blue, Pink and Black)

  2. since red is highest and it has 1 point  and other is more than that its a rule after  potting red we has to pot another colour

  3. Is grey not a colour then?

  4. You can class them as colours if you want, they won`t mind..

  5. are you colour blind or what lol

  6. The red ball is classed as 1, the yellow 2, the green 3, the brown 4

the blue 5, the pink 6, and the black 7  OK ?

  7. this is how i see it  after potting a red for 1 point you can then have a go at any other colour for a BONUS x amount of points after that go red for 1 again , then another bonus ans so on..................hope this helps

  8. It is only a name, after potting a Red ball they say they are going for a colour, Meaning "another" colour of a higher value. So it is a colour, it is the first colour.
