  1. That is correct and what they do is ask you to preform what is called the maneuverability test..

  2. most places are going to make you and wouldnt try to get out of it if i was you becuase it trually is jsut an important skill to have

  3. ya some places but many places are trying to crack down on it now, i didnt have to parallel park for mine

  4. Yes. In places like NYC, where parallel parking is a way of life, then you should expect to parallel park during the test. But in places like KC where I live, they dont make you because there isnt much parallel parking there. It varies by city.

  5. around tri-state(NY,NJ,CT) if you can't parallel park, they know you're not from the area. Parallel parking is a way of life around here.

just learn it because you will find it useful one day.

also do you know that in NJ, self serving gas station is illegal, that's why i know bunch of dumb people who doesn't know how to properly pump the gas into the tank.

  6. I got my license in Georgia and I did not have to parallel park. I think its good to still learn how to do it because you never know when you might have to parallel park.

  7. yes, there are a few places, but I would just practice it anyways because the way sidewalks and roadways are going one never knows
