FCS refers to Fin Control Sytems, a company that makes surfboard fins.  The plugs are small "cups" that are mounted in the board that "plugs" on the fin slide into.  The fins are then held in place by a set s***w.  This system allows you to remove your fins for travel or to change them for different conditions.

FCS is probably the most popular removable fin syetm but there other out there, such as Futures.

FCS stand for Fin Control System. FCS plugs part of this system which is in the surf board and use these type of fins. The plug are used to mount the fins to the board.  Before this people would use screws to mount the fins to the board.
