In tamil there is one proverb. Politics is a drainage. Educated people come to politics to clean?

a. Yes - Educated youngsters must come to politics to clean this politics drainage.

b. No - All youngsters go to work and come home, see the tv, go to cinema, hotel and waste their time and then come to home and sleep well. They didn't bother what is going on in the country. So youngsters need more rest than come to politics. Close all the doors in their house and sleep well.

That is false statement/misnomer.

Manmohan singh, Chidambaram, Maran, Anbumani etc are all highly educated. That not does not matter in India.

For cleansing politics, educated youngsters is not enough. What we need is honest, talented and brave youngsters. Do we have such a group of youngsters. In the present scene, even educated youngsters fall in the drainage and they not only survive, they also become immune. This is very similar to the civil servants when they were introudcued after the indepnednence. We now know civil servants are equally worst than politicans.

What we require is a  strng leader with vision and a mass revolution for cleansing politics like the independence movement.

Only a person with right attitude can lead India to a better path. Not alone education is just enough. We have seen even students from most respected institutions of India going recklessly in their personal life. One who cannot possess self control in his personal life cannot lead a nation.

We need leaders like Netaji Subhas C.Bose to lead the nation. Again not just one but we need a mass of leaders. In every field of developement we need daring leaders to make changes. This will be possible only if the fundamental attitude of Indian youth changes. We dont just need patriotism but die hard love for the nation as the JAPANESE have for theirs.

the tamil proverb is absolutely true. We need more youngsters to run our country. As in India, You need to be 35 to run for elections. I think our constitution needs to be changed. make 35  to 25.

Once again, We not only need youngsters, educated people are really needed to run India.

We need more people like Manmohan Singh, APJ Abdul Kalam. and some young ones like Rahul Gandhi.

Educated youngsters must enter politics. But there is no guarantee that they wont get corrupt. Education helps but more than that it should be the individual's principles that should matter most. People should elect those that are principled and have been serving the people without expecting power or money

We need not just educated but honest, level headed, uncorrupt, energetic,strong people in politics. They can be any age but the above qualities are must.

We all need and deserve a much better set of leaders and government.

The proverb is partly right.

the domain politics needs qualification corruption. are u corrupted to look back into politics.

people who have intended to  change or clean the drainage have lost themselves.

youngsters have been sold to many top MNC's that they have least time rest and care for themselves.

i also dream about change as you do but both of us have two votes, let me know whom to vote for. how is that going to make a difference.
