  1. haha yeah its a libero...a player that plays only backrow and rotates in for the middle blockers so that they dont have to play backrow defence...the word "libero" means free in greek which sort of explains that they can go in without the coach having to use a subsitution like with any other player...they definatly have to have the natural ability to read the hitters and be willing and able to dive around and hit the floor alot

***i hope i helped you out and good luck!!!

  2. that person is the libero...or the person who can sub in for the back row whenever time they need to. on my team we only change the middle back for the libero..

that person wears a different color jersey to show that they are the libero telling the referees that person can sub in and out without it counting to the official sub count

  3. that person is the libero... (which is someone who can bump very good) this person subs in for players in the back row who are having some trouble returning serves or spikes. The libero can sub in for different players all throughout the game but can not serve or play front row.. hope i helped : )

  4. That person is the libero, and she plays only backrow but she can always be in the backrow.

For instance, if your middle hitter is not a good backrow player then you would have the libero come in for her AND any other player in the backrow with out substitutions.

  5. it means the person is their labaro which means they can sub in whenever but can only play the back row.

well at least thats what it means in the league i play :)
