  1. The cost, length and size

    beginners are usually 22-26 inches

    pros are usually 27-29

cost for beginners ranges from $15-$50

    pro racquets range from $90-$500

pro raquet head sizes are usually 90-100 sq. inch

beginners are usually 110-130 sq. inch

  2. pro rackets are generally smaller (90-100sqin)

Honestly though, you just have to recognize the rackets. Any experienced player will be able to tell the difference. K-mart rackets are easy to spot

  3. A lot of it is cost.  You can determine how good a racket is by the price.  however just generally looking, the better rackets are generally smaller and lighter.  Also string tension is much higher.

  4. Beginner's racket:

Lighter, bigger headsize, smaller grip, cheaper, and shorter

    Pro rackets:

Usually heavier(some are light), smaller headsize(95-100sq. in, amatuer may be 100-110sq. in), longer grip, more expensive($100-225), and longer(27-27.5inches long).

    Hoped it helped! =]

  5. there isnt really a way.  u just have to know.

  6. The beginners racquet will always cost less for sure. They are bigger generally because the head is bigger so the beginner has more room to hit the ball. Once you go to a pro racquet, it becomes easier to hit with smaller room and you get better quality hits on the ball.

  7. Well a beginners racket bought from target or something is pretty obvious. the outside will be made of some cheap material or the grip may be very short because little kids would buy that. the strings never really do get any bigger or smaller in rackets. As for a pro's racket, it is complicated. there is not one good racket that a pro uses. it all depends on what they like. it is not all about the price. ome good types though are like the wilson k-factor, head microgel, and prince O3. but there really is not a way to classify a normal racket from a pro's. they are different and the same.
