I'm getting "spacers" on today. Are they the same as the little rubber bands or something else?

  1. yes i think they use the same thing i hav braces so when they put them in i noticed they were the same as the rubber bands they use on the braces so yea i think so

  2. Spacers go in between your teeth in the back so they can be separated so the dr can put this metal thing in before you get your braces on.  If u have an overbite they will make you wear rubber bands which go from your top teeth to your bottom teeth.  But u dont get those until you've had braces for a while.

  3. i got them on today, they are little rubber bamds in between you teeth. They dnt really hrut in general, just one of them kills, but that was really tight so i expected it. no biggie.

  4. Spacers are like the little rubber bands, but I think they are typically put between your teeth-like dental floss. They are meant to create a little space (hence the name) between your individual teeth.
