Basically what does a 15 year old daughter need to get birth control pills (confidentially) ? IN TEXAS

  1. The law states that if they are in childbearing years they can get birth control pills without parental consent.


  2. I lived in Texas for four years. Moved away at the age of thirteen. They hadn't put us through s*x ed at that point. Laws are different in every state. I'm sure it's not that different from anywhere else though. I've moved more times than years that I've been alive. I lived in texas, arizona and california. In California you can get them from a local Planned Parenthood at any age and I don't believe you need parental consent.

    In Texas I believe it's the same. Except I don't remember seeing a Planned Parenthood or any other clinic around Houston, Spring, Katy or the Woodlands. She could get it from her doctor but I'm sure she would need a parent for that.

  3. If you considering becoming sexually active in Texas or any other state, talk to a responsible adult. You shouldn't enter it lightly. If your already there, then you should go to your local family planning clinic, they'll help you out. Reconsider, and be very sure of the decision you chose.
