  1. no all them are the same

  2. Suits do not have value in texas hold em.  What were your cards, your opponents and the board??  If you had pocket jacks (spades and clubs) and your opponent had pocket jacks (hearts and diamonds) the only way they could beat you would be with a flush.  If four hearts (or diamonds) are on the board they have a flush with their jack and you don't.  That is the only way the could beat you.

In other games the suits do have a rank: spades, hearts, clubs then diamonds.

  3. No, you guys should have split the pot if you had thew same cards, but for future refrence in other games it's spades clubs diamonds hearts,

  4. no just standard

    flush beats straight

if your pocket cards and his did not make a flush,, with the flop cards , then you both had a straight,, so therefore the pot shouldve been split,,

dont play if you dont know the rules

  5. it sounds like this...

    example below:

    Ks Kh      Kc Kd

    Board:    7d  9d  3d 2d Qs

in this case...   we have a diamond flush for one of the pockets...

the probability of this type of hand happening is pretty slim...  but it does happen...  so watch out...
