  1. YOU GET DELT A PAIR

  2. that u have 2 cards or value in your hand two 2's two 3's .... two kings or two aces

  3. fi you have 2 of any card in ur hand that is called a pocket pair

  4. Common Texas Hold 'Em terms used:

Pocket- Your two whole cards that are down. Any pair is considered a pocket pair. So you have a pair of Kings as you two down whole cards.

Cowboys- Another nickname for pocket Kings.

A Set- 3 of a kind, also known as trips.

    A Boat- a full house.

Rockets- Known as pocket Aces. Too many other nicknames to mention here.

Big Slick- Ace and a King as your whole cards.

The Doyle- This is having a 10 and a 2 as your whole cards. The legendary Doyle Brunson won 2 World Series bracelets with that hand.

Overs- Any 2 un paired over cards to a low flop. So if you have Ace Queen and the flop is 4 6 2, your Ace Queen are considered overs.

  6. King/King is also called Cowboys.

My favorite Hold 'em hand actually :)

Ace/Ace is "Pocket Rockets" or "Bullets" and even "American Airlines"

    Queen/Queen is sometimes called "Ladies"

Jack/Jack I call "The Ambiguously g*y Duo" because they never win for me :-D

  7. In Texas Hold-'Em ... you're dealt two cards face-down at the beginning of the hand (your hole-cards) before the "flop" (community cards) are laid down on the table.

A "pocket pair" simply means you were dealt a "pair" (2 matching cards 2's, 3's, 4's, Jack's, Queen's, King's, etc) in the "face down" cards you received in the deal.

A pair of kings is also referred to as a "a couple of cowboys" or simply "cowboys"

  8. Pocket kings means to have a pair of kings
