I am not a native Texan, but have found that there are some resources for us. I would also point out that Texas is a huge state and what you can find in Dallas is different from what is in Dublin.

I am attaching a link to the Texas Plastic Recycling Network. That might be a start for plastic- which is the harder of the two.

As for paper- I know that most mid size towns have a place that will buy and recycle paper- even my town of about 115,000 people. I am also attaching a list of those in the state.

Not anywhere! so much for going green in Texas.  I wish people will stop jumping on a band wagon without thinking.  What do they do with the trash in TX? I found out they expect you to trash your own paper or plastic and throw them away in the regular manner.  What a waste!
