  1. It wasn't outright forbidden at the national level, however it was pretty much forbidden in the southern conservative states.  People back then looked down on interracial relationships VERY much.  Some people still do... =(


  2. Not just black and white relationships, but also other races as well.  

  3. they could not get married till 63 or 66 something like that, pretty sad, thanks the universe thats all changed
