  1. Bradley Clyde won the Clive Churchill medal as the Canberra Raiders won the premiership.  Balmain ran out of legs.  the better team won.  Still a sour note with the Balmain supporters.  They made amends in 2005 when they won the premiership as the Wests Tigers


  2. Paul Sironen, Steve Roach and Benny Elias were playing well until Ryan took Siro and Roach off.  Benny had to do a lot more tackling, which affected his attack.  If Siro and Roach stayed on I reckon Balmain would have won and any of the 3 above may have won the Churchill medal.  Clyde deserved the medal though in 1989, but didn't in 1991.  Royce Simmons shouuld have got it!

  3. Think you are referring to garry ablett snr. he was too, in my opinion.
