David Woodley was a former AFC Champion

Mark Malone was an intelligent game anaylzer

Bubby Brister had a cannon for an arm and was a fearless competitor

Neil O'Donnell was extremely accurate and effeciant

Mike Tomszak was gutsy and sly with winning experience

Cordell Stewart/Slash was the prototype athletic QB

Tommy Maddox in a No Huddle was a scoring Gunslinger

Of coarse ALL these guys had individual DRAWBACKS as well! So it's up to YOU to find out the answer to this question. Who was the best of the bunch between Bradshaw and Big Ben and why.

More specifically, Which one of these guys would YOU most want if you HAD to pick one?

  1. It's a toss-up between Maddox and O'Donnell, but O'Donnell's stock drops when I think back to his last game as a Steeler. I'm still bummed about his interception in the Super Bowl, so I'll pick Maddox. The other guys were only good back-ups. I have to disagree with Kordell being the " prototype " athletic QB, he was athletic, but he wasn't a good QB and I think he'd still be playing if he wasn't so stubborn and would of become a receiver.

  2. If I had to pick one to build a team around or help groom a young QB it would be Neil O'Donnell.

  3. I'm just gonna go ahead and say Kordell Stewart.  I defended his name for so long - why stop now?  Although I was so impressed with Maddox when he stepped in for Stewart in 2002 (and when he played in the XFL in 2001!)

However, even I'd have to vote for Agent 86 has having the best answer thus far.

  4. Neil O'Donnell im more familar with him the others I havent seen that much.

  5. hey am only 15 but i know football i gatter go wit the no huddle gunslinger tommy maddox,he is what people call the scoring machin

e, all those other QB should back up, cus tommy maddox is not the same as them he is a scoring machine

  6. Mike Tomszak because he went to OSU. Actually I think it was between O'Donnell and Woodley, and I am going with O'donnell.

  7. Neil O'Donnel.  By far the best on that list.  He took them to a Superbowl too.

Stewart sucked at QB.  At least the other guys were decent.

  8. Tommy Maddox

  9. i'd say tommy maddox even though he didnt have a huge impact but he came off the bench scoring touchdowns like a vet he was a good player

nothing more sexier than a girl who knows her football

  10. Tommy Maddux.

what a comeback story. and, just when the STEELERS, needed Him, after the "SLASH" experiment.

  11. Neil O'Donnell. I know, I know, he threw Super Bowl x*x away to Dallas. But that's another story.

O'Donnell was generally NOT interception prone; and the Steelers were usually contenders every year he was the starter. And he did get them to the big one in 1995; regardless of what happened afterwards.

O'Donnell's career hit the rocks when he signed a big free agent deal with the Jets in 1996. At about the same time he let his facial hair grow uncontrollably.

  12. Neil O'Donnell... he led the Steelers to two AFC Championship games and even the Super Bowl.  Granted he sucked in that game but none of the others even made it close to the Super Bowl well at least with the Steelers.
