In the 2008 Beijing Olympics, why do the Ukrainian woman always have to yell and pout when they win or loose?

I was watching the olympics in Fencing just now and I like was just wondering if the screaming and pouting is necessary if they happen to get the other opponent or when the opponent gets them. ITS ANNOYING LOLZ

  1. Think they learned it from the Americans, who are world leaders in yelling and pouting. h**l, even presidents do it.

  3. the shouting is a psychological edge over their opponent, its to intimidate them, and as for the pout wouldnt you be dissapointed if you trained for 4 years and then lost a point and were therefore closer to loosing the match that you have trained so hard for.

  4. ...and if they were russian, they'd be taking their shoes off and banging them on the judges' table?  (a la Nikita, for the youngsters viewing).

    Anyhow, I admire your courage for criticizing a woman with a long sharp hunk of metal in her hands.  I never did that to any of my three ex-wives, and I can still sing baritone.
